Here’s exactly what happens between “I want to farm this neighborhood” and a homeowner holding your letter — and why none of it can be faked with a printer.
Step 1: Draw your farm — or upload your list
Two ways in, same destination. Trace your neighborhood on our map and we count every single-family home inside it, verify who lives there, and give you a live quote for a handwritten letter to each one. Or upload your own CSV — we verify every row, remove duplicates, and price the job from the list. The list is the order.
Either way, you write the message once — a tried-and-true farming template, or a rough idea we’ll help you polish — and drop in merge fields like the recipient’s first name and neighborhood so every letter reads like it was written for one homeowner. Because it was.
Step 2: real handwriting goes on real paper
This is where we’re different from every “handwritten font” service on the internet. Our letters are written by a custom-built machine holding an actual pen — a machine driven by software we developed ourselves. real handwriting. Natural pressure variation. Slight, human irregularities.
Because each letter genuinely is written — not printed — there’s nothing for a homeowner to spot. Every one is a one-of-a-kind ink original, written on premium 190 GSM stock — white, just off-white — with blue or black ink to match the voice of your message. Envelope addresses are handwritten to match the letter.
Step 3: Hand-folded, stamped, and mailed
Each letter is a half-letter — an 8.5 × 11 sheet cut in half to 8.5 × 5.5 — folded by hand, tucked into a hand-addressed announcement envelope, and finished with a real postage stamp — not a metered indicia that announces “bulk mail” from across the room. Then it’s handed to USPS and on its way to the one place the other agents in your farm aren’t fighting over: the mailbox. Repeat monthly, and the neighborhood learns your name.
What you need to provide
- Your letter text — or the idea for it, and we’ll help you shape it
- Your farm — drawn on our map, or your own list as a CSV
- Any personalization you want merged into each letter
That’s it. No design skills, no print templates, no trip to the post office.
Turnaround
Orders are typically written, folded, and mailed within a few business days. Larger farm mailings are scheduled with you at order time, so you know exactly when your letters land. And one rule never changes: every letter is dated the day it’s written, and posted that same day.
What happens to your list
It’s used to write and mail your letters — that’s it. We don’t sell, share, or reuse your data. Your farm belongs to you and stays yours.
